Will never try them again.
Had dinner on a quiet Monday nite, sesame prawn toast entree was the standout. Mains were fine service was friendly, would go back again no worries.
I was nearly put off this place by the negative reviews but my goodness I’m glad I tried it. Great food, prompt service with a smile, lovely atmosphere. The prawn toast was the best I’ve ever had and the sizzling plate exceeded expectations. I cannot speak more highly of this place. I hope you find it the same.
We actually went here by mistake as we wanted to go a little further up the road to Lake of China restaurant. Service was slow as there were only 6 customers at the time. The waitress had little or no knowledge of the items on the menu. Whilst we waited for our food numerous takeaway orders were collected, Seems that the restaurant is more interested in takeaway business. To top it all off the next day we were both a bit queasy as we had seafood which would appear to have been off. Lesson learned.
Foods fine but be aware. Was not told until pick up that it was a $9 premium to not have onion in the dish. Excuse given was that you get more meat. Either tell people straight up, write it on your menu or don't up the portion size of the dish! Not going back there again
