Miguel Angel, México

My friends and I discovered Miquel Angel Restaurante originally back in 2020. It was so good I brought my niece back early this evening (Oct 23, 2023). We ordered the shrimp tostadas and shrimp empanadas plus green (verdes) chile chicken enchiladas to share. The tostadas were so good and big with fresh shrimp, tomatoes, red onions, and cucumber that we decided to have the empanadas boxed to go upon arrival. Then we both ate a single large chicken enchilada and took back the last enchilada for dinner tomorrow with the empanadas. The salsa was so good we made sure our waiter got every last bit. My niece had the special margarita that night with fresh mango and raved about it. The staff were very attentive, kind, and sociable. Miquel has both times years apart been very hospitable to me, my friends and family. My niece wants to go back again before we leave. It is located on the plaza off the beach from the Bucerias sign.

First time at this restaurant. The food was good, but nothing to write home about. It is the first time I’ve had fajitas that didn’t come with guacamole. The meat was somewhat tough. The service was mediocre and we had to signal the waiter when we needed something. In my opinion the experience didn’t live up to the trip advisor reviews. Don’t know if we will give it another try.
