Hotel Seegarten - Bad Wiessee

Two of us stayed in this hotel while on a self-guided WWII battle field tour. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, the dining experience, and the warmth of the staff. The entire stay was what I expected. The food was good, the room was clean, and...the bed was comfortable. I could not ask for more.

This is an average restaurant with somewhat sloppy service. We had a soup and char, which was edible, followed by a strudel. The latter was actually simply big chunks of almost uncooked apples with an barely visible pastry cover: nothing else! It was the worst...strudel ever. All of the above not cheap at all!

We went there on a Sunday lunch time, with a package 4-courses menu for two people. The service was a bit... dry, which, I must say, we enjoyed (we are not big fans of over-friendly, over-talkative service... . The setting was not as posh as we...expected given the price, but the food definetely was: it was obviously prepared at the moment with love and care: absolutely delicious.

A reha costs more than they think. So I had to go to the badwiessee at the end of the gel to thrott one atm. after a successful print that refuels the geldautmats in my handbag, we went to drink a coffee and eat a cake. with beautiful weather there is also a tulip garden with views of the local autobahn. but it was a little cool and I wasn't fit enough. So we went to the caffe. everything is very rustic and old, but very cozy. we had 2 lattes and 2 cakes. That was really good. what served on eating side tables also looked quite appealing. I wanted to try again, but since I didn't get an extension of the rehas with the time. but safe next year.
