My friends have gotten tortas, and quesadillas, and other things and they are all amazing, I always ask for bites. I haven’t been to enough taco trucks to say this one is the best, but I can’t imagine much better!
WARNING: Attend this location with caution and I would not recommend parking here or leaving your car if you do.Stopped here after a long ride. Grabbed Gatoradess from the connecting gas station because it was the only thing open at the time. Walked around the area to kill time and wait for some food to open. Initially I panicked thinking my truck was stolen so went into the the gas station again to see if there was anything they could do to help. He said that cars a towed if left attended. I asked if he had called and he said no. Thinking it was just a misunderstanding I asked for a receipt of the Gatorade I purchased and things took a dark turn. The employee(Said his name was Miguel) would not provide me the receipt. I'm not sure the legality of this but at the very least it was poor customer service and very odd behavior given the circumstance. He could easily pull it to help me at the very minimum. I was the only person inside, he was not busy. After a headache of calling numbers to track down my truck I learned it was impounded literally blocks away. Was charged over 300 to get it back and told from the tow truck driver that someone called him to come get it. Which means the gas station attendant lied about getting the vehicle towed and wouldn't give me a receipt to prove I was using the lot as a customer and for it's intended purpose. Very grimy and disappointing. To the owner of the business it would be appreciated if you covered the towing cost given the circumstances of me being punished for attending your business and happy to take the review down if this is just a misunderstanding or a single bad actor. I live close and come here pretty frequently. But given the the current circumstances and my recent experience I will never be back and don't suggest anyone else go either. If anyone else has experienced something similar please comment so I can look into this further. Would just avoid this place if I were you. Not worth the hassle.
Found this place doing a random google search and I am so happy I did. First of the lady that runs this food truck is an absolute sweetheart, you can tell she is busy yet her customer service is great. Now the food… is good, affordable and GENEROUS. Like really the price for the value is amazing. I would recommend to do an take out order since in mid summer it can be a little hot, but I will definitely use their cute little outdoor seating once it starts cooling off outside.
Super sweet lady! There are multiple food trucks at the gas station. She has around 5 picnic tables and a sunshade. I'm sure the food was really good. I got the breakfast miga and I wasn't aware how greasy it would be. I know, I know grease adds flavor, but for someone with no gallbladder....a lot of grease does me no good. So just a heads up!The salsa was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable.
$18.40 for a Pastor plate and a Coke???!?!?!?!?! The rice and beans had no flavor and the meat was tuff. HUGE rip off!!! I come from the RGV...I've had tacos that taste 300 times better for $10! With the drink too! Thiers was Luke warm??
