Now some of their dishes like pasta di toscano and shrimp scalasie are just wonderful. Their warm bread is very good just wish they had a butter garlic dipping sauce...I know that not Italian but still. Prices are medium. Their liquor and wine is WAY overpriced. Asked once for a glass of the house red and the waitress had no idea. And the fact they didn't have one says alot. Some of their items can be bland and they have a consistency issue. But I would recommend if you want a good Italian meal in Aurora with out going really pricey.
This restaurant is a must visit. The food was beyond good, the service excellent and the ambiance second to none. Huge parking lot that was easy in and out, and a completely relaxing meal in the middle of a hectic day and season!
This is my favorite restaurant I have only been there twice! There are not many Italian restaurants around. They have a good variety of food even offering b=gluten free. The sauce is good. You can tell by the smell when you walk in knowing your food will be great! I had chicken Marcella and my husband a stuffed chicken. The bread is home made. The service was great. This was connected to the Luigi's in Englewood, CO. The atmosphere is cosy,,cosy lighting.
Went here on a Saturday night. First guidance, do an online reservation. Otherwise you’re waiting for 40 minutes. We were okay waiting because we assumed if it was so busy it must be great. Our server, Alec, was wonderful. Highly attentive and great attitude on a busy Saturday night. Our son had spaghetti and meatballs, my husband had the Ravioli and I had the Gretchen’s pasta. We wanted to love the food. The bread was good. However, all 3 main dishes were very bland. Done something I’ve never had to do at an Italian restaurant, put salt and pepper on my dinner. Basil, garlic, oregano are all missing from our meals. Won’t come back because even though the service was great, the food isn’t worth the money. Which is sad for the #21 restaurant in Aurora.
We went here for dinner one night after reading reviews and had no regrets! Top notch Italian restaurant with a large menu and great waiters. All of our meals were delicious and nobody left hungry. Prices are average, definitely not overpriced. We got there early so it wasn’t busy, but it didn’t take long for the place to start filling up. I wish it was here in my hometown, I would be a regular there...try the calamari with the spicy marinara, it’s probably the best I’ve had in a long time, and the spicy sauce is amazing. Definitely stop here if you’re craving good Italian food.
