Whipper's Pizza - Augusta

My favourite in Augusta. Just a great little pizza shop quality food great service can be a bit expensive but. I usually find it worth it. Fresh dough is the best.

Great sandwiches. GREAT! Yeah, the pizza is great, but I just can't seem to hand over her subs. Augusta is blessed with some really wonderful sub-sandwich shops (thanks, Maine Legislature for your part in this!!! but this is one of my two absolute favorites. They won't be disappointed. Large bread and lots of content combined with fast and friendly service make this a 'must stop'.

Loved it stopped by here for quick lunch today. Due to covid-19 seating inside is very limited. Mask must be worn. As soon as you enter the menus will be on the wall. It 's wall menu style allows you to see their entire selection of food items. For the beverages you will find them in the refrigerator 's, all drinks are bottled currently. Immediately when I entered the building I was greeted by the lady at the register, she was more than ready to take my order I was in the mood for a sub so I went with their italian (ham and salami) style sub. The wait was very short. My sub was available within 10 minutes even with a line out the door. Here you can find fast and friendly service. My sub turned out great and may stop by again if I am in the area. Thanks whippers for the delicious sub, I hope to try something else on your menu. This place is a busy little pizza shop. While we waited for our pie, we must have seen 20 people come and go. The pizza has a ton of cheese. If I had to guess, I think there's some provolone mixed in. Sauce is good. Crust is good. I'd go back.
