We had a wonderful, friendly service. the food was beautifully presented and delicious.

Worst sashimi presentation for $43 with dry bean sprouts which was overpriced. I wasn't expecting anything extravagant.The waiter couldn't wait to clear the table, which wasn't appropriate etiquette for a very well-established and it was extremely disappointing as I had been here many times. The online menus are out of date, and the price has gone up, which is fine, but please update your website as well! We ordered sashimi, but the main courses arrived first, followed by the sashimi.

Unexpectedly overpriced for what it is. The food is presented and priced as if it was very high end. Upon receiving the food, the portion sizes and quality of the food is lacking... Extremely small portions and very mediocre quality, compared to a lot of other Japanese places in Auckland. For example the Nombe plate, which is 18 dollars, is literally a spoonful of minced salmon, three tiny slices of fish, accompanied by a slither of cucumber and a bizarre piece of fruit sushi. Definitely wouldn’t recommend coming here unless you enjoy extremely overpriced mediocrity

Looking for an authentic Japanese meal in the cbd? Don’t go here- Whilst this restaurant presents as a nice middle range dining experience, the food is overpriced, disappointing and uneventful. Upon coming here you will be created by tiny portions of mediocre food at high end prices. I ordered the teriyaki salmon for $28 dollars which sounded reasonably priced on the menu. However when it arrived I was presented with a piece and a half of frozen tasting salmon slapped in a pool of salty teriyaki sauce. There was no rice, vegetables or even any small garnishes accompanying the dish. The whole experience was very disappointing and left a lot to be desired. The Japanese takeaway I go to is better than here and a fraction of the price.

Wonderful dining experience at this restaurant! My son brought me here and I absolutely loved it. The service was excellent and I particularly enjoyed the Klempner wine. I am looking forward to returning soon to try more of their delicious dishes and drinks. Thank you to the staff for the great atmosphere and top-notch service, and for the amazing items on the menu!
