Romano's Macaroni Grill Auburn Hills

Main course came before our appetizer! The server brought olive oil to our table but forgot to bring bread! We ordered stake and the stake knife fell on the floor when the server brought it to our table, he replaced it with a butter knife! The total on our bill was miscalculated and overcharged. Not the optimal experience especially on Valentine's day!

While the service was good we thought the food was slow to arrive since we were among a very small group of diners in the restaurant, and it was mediocre at best. The kitchen staff needs to make some adjustments and bring the quality back up to the previous Macaroni Grill standards.

The entire experience was fantastic! Chloe, our waitress, was excellent. The food was amazing!!!! Since it was an early reservation we had our choice of seating, even the background music was a great choice! Definitely worth going back for another experience!

Good food and great service. Great place for a meal with friends. Wide choice of typical Italian dishes. Service was excellent. I like that you can watch the kitchen staff and the decor fits the restaurant style.

We arrived and after a short wait were seated. We sat at our table for 20 minutes and no one waited on us. I told a passing employee that we had yet to see our waitress/waiter. About 10 minutes later (30 minutes after being seat, mind you) a waitress finally arrived and took our order. The order arrived in a timely fashion, we ate and then waited for 15 minutes before our bill was brought to us. THEN, we waited another 15 minutes for someone to take our visa and because no one ever came, I walked the bill up to a woman standing in front of a computer and explained that we would like to pay our bill. She was nice enough to cash us out. Also, my husband ordered a small glass of red wine, received a small glass of red wine but was charged for a large. Needless to say, it was not a good experience!
