Stuck at a crowded table next to a family that had several disabled members and needed more space. I felt bad we got her cramped. Our waitress was nice and tried, but we waited 20 for our check after she cleared our dishes. The automated checkout on our table had no battery, so was useless. We almost got someone else's food, even though we already ate. It was a mess. We were one of maybe 15 tables. It wasn't so busy. Now I know why.
It took an hour for our party of 6 to order food at this restaurant. It's unclear if our waitress was having a bad day or was simply distracted, but when our food arrived, it was cold. We were so disappointed that we didn't even want to eat. The manager generously took care of our tab for drinks and appetizers and refused to charge us for our entrees. However, the long wait time was still unacceptable.
Hostesses definitely need to train on Open Table. I checked for our reservation at Hostess Station. 25 minutes later we didn't sit down. I finally went up and asked what the problem was and she said she forgot we were there. She said she'd put us down soon. Then she put other people without reservations that were only about 5 minutes there. She sat three more groups and I asked for a manager. The manager was very sad, set us fast and paid for our meals. He did it right, but the hostess was like we were ridiculous and gave our 10-year-old daughter dirty appearance when she came by. Fearable employee who should not work with the public. Only positive were the waitress nice and our food was free!
