La Croix d'Or - Attichy

A Michelin star restaurant with reasonable prices, because it is suitable for those who really love their work. The star had been proposed, but they refused... just not having to double the prices... as Michelin demanded. Come on, Christelle and Patrick, when we return to France, you will be a fixed stop. Well done. (Notice of Origin) A ristorante da stella Michelin ma con prezzi contentti, come so conviene a coloro che amano veramente il loro lavoro. La stella era stata proposeta, ma l'hanno rifiutata...proprio per non dovere raddoppiare i prezzi...come richiedono quelli della Michelin. Quindi forza Christelle e Patrick, quando torniamo in Francia siete una tappa fissa. Bravissimi.

A very good restaurant in terms of quality prices. What a surprise in the middle of a small village. We have appreciated and recommended to all. We had a delicious meal here while we were staying at Un Air de Campagne in Couloisy nearby. Nice airy dining room and really nice contemporary cuisine - small portions, lots of courses, nothing on your plate that is just cooked as opposed to designed and constructed. Lovely cheese and desserts. I would especially recommend the pork fillet and the pineapple dessert although the pâté deserves a mention as well. The other nice thing is that you don't get ripped off for your bottle of wine so in the end we paid E100 for a meal that I think would have cost at least £130 back home if you could find such good cooking!
