Przekaż informację zwrotnąI've been coming here everyday during maymester...and came about once a week during spring semester. The frequent baristas have learned my name. They are WAY faster than the Starbucks by Aderhold (even when it's equally crowded). There is usually a table. It's not quiet per say, but there's a lot of space and the sound carries in a way where it still seems chill even with a bit of noise. I'm a fan. It's worth noting, they don't give you free refills if you're green/gold, but refills really cheap.
Love this place. Beautiful historic building. Lot of natural light. Relatively quiet. Good service. Good for light studying. It's a great place to have on campus and better than the tiny Starbucks across Aderhold where sitting is a nightmare.
Hello, prudent reader Allow me to tell my story on why the service here is awful. Today, I entered (at about 12:20 PM the cafe for a cake pop and a tall refresher. It was lunch rush so I expected to wait a bit. But not 40~ minutes. I make my order and click the 20% tip option and the batista quickly rushes off but doesn 't offer a receipt. Okay, I will wait and then get it. She returns with a disgusted face and says Thank you as if shooing a fly off the wall...a TWENTY PERCENT TIP. However, I graciously shimmy out of the way embarrassed for taking up space in rush hour. She must be having a rough time, it 's fine tho. I will trust that I get the order and then I can leave. I was wrong. I sit there for 5 minutes and get the drink and then an additional 10 minutes and no cake pop. Okay, it 's a small order they might have forgotten. I ask the man at the serving counter if a cake pop is on the way. He asks for a receipt. Oh how irony kills us all. I don 't have it. But I do have the transaction history on my card. I 'll get back to you he says. Okay, I will wait again. Another 15-20 minutes, I see many other patrons get their cake pops, sandwiches, snacks, meals, and drinks. But I still don 't have my cake pop. I am not a fool. I know that in the serving industry you can see a distraught customer waiting. But I guess not here. I gave a TWENTY PERCENT TIP on a order that ended up costing $11.62 and I was treated horribly. I gave pretty much every ounce of patience and respect I could and tried not be in the way at all. Imagine if I had been better off as a struggling student and tipped 25%! So I walked out (12:55 PM . Do NOT come here for anything. Every other place around Georgia State has better manners and decorum than these buffoons. Food places around Aderhold Learning Center are very strong and the street of shops across Langdale Hall are much more accomodating. IF YOU MUST COME HERE, have about 2 hours to spare or don 't come at lunch hour :
I waited 20mins on a mobile and didn't get the drink I ordered. Did get my wrap tho.
Everytime I go to this location they always add customizations to my drinks, which I never asked for. I simply ordered a grande mocha frapp, no added pumps or nothing. When I check later, it says 1 added mocha pump with whipped cream for some reason! If you choose to go to this Starbucks be ready to get scammed and charged an extra dollar or two for something u never ordered. Go to another Starbucks if u want to save your dollar.
