Sage Woodfire Tavern Perimeter

As a single diner, even though I had a reservation, they asked to seat me at the bar. When I declined, I was seated in a tight corner next to a large party. Understandably the waitstaff were very busy with this group which left me sitting quite a bit. The food was ok but overpriced.

Reminded multiple times about a 2 hour limit. Food came our extremely slow. Still reminded multiple times needed to go. This despite bringing a party of 6 to the restaurant.

Loved the food, environment, music and the service.

I visited this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon and sat at the bar. The drinks were good and reasonably priced. However, the service was extremely slow. I ordered a medium hamburger topped with a fried egg, with the expectation that the yolk would run deliciously over the burger when I cut into it. Unfortunately, both the burger and the egg were overcooked, so the yolk didn’t run at all. The wait for my food was so long that it felt like it wasn’t worth it in the end. I left disappointed and I’m not sure if I’ll return.

The service at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. It took the waiter 30 minutes to bring us our order, and even after we asked him twice, he still got it wrong. We requested two glasses of champagne, but he struggled to figure out how to place the order. Eventually, my partner had to go to the bar himself, where he encountered an unfriendly bartender. To make matters worse, when we left, the hostess was sitting on the floor with her feet propped up on the hostess stand. I definitely won't be returning to this restaurant.
