The staff in the market were very nice, as were the front desk staff. The standard restaurant Sway was just okay. The lady at the bar was very nice but she had a little rift with another employee where they were having attitude with each other regarding who should give me my too go order bag. So when it was handed to me I said thank you but was ignored because the lady that gave it to me was too busy giving a dirty look to the bartender who suggested it was that lady's job to give it to me. This is not the customer's issue, so they should be mindful of this and keep their fights behind the scene. I ordered shrimp and grits and it was pretty good with the exception of the mushroom chunks. The honey biscuits were supposed to be a speciality of theirs but I found them underwhelming. The room was clean and comfortable, which was a major plus. The balconies have no furniture which is a bit odd, but besides that I can't complain about the room. Overall it is an above average to good, but not great, hotel that I would likely return to if the opportunity presents itself.
We stayed here for a few days, and, overall, it was pretty pleasant. From the exterior, it didn't seem much, but when you step inside, I loved the exposed balconies on the multiple floors it literally looked like the hotel was built around a few buildings! Rooms were clean and every well stocked; housekeeping did an amazing job in tidying up the room on a daily basis. Front staff were friendly and efficient; the concierge/guest services, while nice, didn't offer great recommendations. It seemed as if the hotel just partnered up with businesses near by and just referred to one another. Note that the elevators are the exposed capsules, so if you're afraid of heights, this may be an issue! Not much to do in this area, but there was a restaurant or two that we were okay with. +clean rooms +friendly service
The Hyatt Atlanta is a true haven, offering spacious rooms with balconies that provide stunning city views. The sleek, futuristic lobby, featuring impressive glass elevators, sets a modern tone upon arrival. Guests can enjoy a fantastic gym equipped with the latest fitness technology. The staff are exceptional, consistently delivering outstanding service and making every guest feel welcome. Additionally, the hotel's location is incredibly convenient, just a quick 20-minute subway ride from the airport, with the station only a block away. Combining luxury, comfort, and accessibility, the Hyatt Atlanta is an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers.
The Hyatt Regency Atlanta provides a dependable experience. The hotel is conveniently located next to the Peachtree station for the Marta. This is an excellent plus for the hotel. If you are traveling to and from the airport. It makes your experience easier. Also traveling around the city via Marta is easy when it is next door. The Hub is right above the station and is attached to the hotel via a bridge. It has a variety of food options, pharmacy, etc. Thus if you have forgotten anything it is right next door to you. And having multiple food options next door is a great option. If you brought your vehicle you can use the valet. It is fifty dollars a day. Or you can choose a city lot they are less expensive. There are a variety of rooms to choose from. The hotel has two different towers along with the main rooms. It also has a multiple conference rooms. The staff have always been friendly. We requested an early check in. We completed the process with all of our information early that way we could walk in and grab our keys when we arrived. We left our bags with concierge. We arrived at 12pm. We were able to check in at 2pm. We appreciated being able to check in early. The hotel has two restaurants and a bar. The food is ok. There is a marketplace area to grab food, drinks, forgotten items etc. And another smaller market area around the corner from the check in which is just a little less expensive than the main market area. The Hyatt Regency Atlanta is a good choice if you're looking for a place to stay.
I can't complain about ANYTHING. I booked a 1 night stay in a walk out balcony room for about $150 at the time. My only suggestion is to pay the valet fee so your car and valuables are safe. Otherwise you'll have to park at a flat rate offsite parking lot, and at that point just leave your windows down enough for someone to stick their arm in and just open it up so you don't have a broken window. This is still Atlanta
