Note: I'm Vegan and my family isn't so there's many options for everyone. Me and my family have been coming here for years! The manager is amazing! The staff is amazing! The atmosphere is serene! The food is amazing! The drinks are amazing! I HAD MY BIRTHDAY DINNER HERE KEEP IT UP
Food took a while to serve. Peking duck was dry tasted old.hot sour soup had shrimp that tasted freezer burn. The Alvacado shrimp was OK as was the duck crepe and duck soup. Not worth 95 dollars. $215.47 spent not worth money. Two stars service and food. I will not come back .
We were traveling from VA this was walking distance from our hotel ! Loved it . Very authentic, gourmet Chinese. Interior has a dark, slightly dated but very cozy vibe. Szechuan green beans with shrimp cooked perfectly. At one point our waiter busy with another table and we waited quite awhile for more drinks but otherwise a great spot.
This is a truly beautiful, classic Chinese restaurant that exudes an old-school charm. The nostalgic décor transports you to another era, while the traditional menu offers all the beloved staples you’d expect from an authentic Chinese dining experience. It’s the kind of place where you can’t really go wrong with whatever you order; the dishes are consistently well-prepared and delicious. However, I do feel that the prices are a bit on the higher side. Having visited twice, both times during market week, I couldn’t help but notice that the cost seemed somewhat inflated. It’s possible that prices have been raised specifically for that week, which is a bit disappointing. While the food and atmosphere are certainly enjoyable, the higher cost does detract slightly from the overall experience. Despite this, the restaurant remains a solid choice if you’re looking for an authentic Chinese dining experience with a touch of nostalgia. The quality of the food and the ambiance are definite highlights, but just be aware that you might be paying a premium, especially during market week. If you’re willing to overlook the pricing, it’s a charming spot that offers a genuine taste of traditional Chinese cuisine in a setting that’s hard to find these days.
There's a reason this is one of Atlanta's oldest Chinese restaurants. It never disappoints. Combination of delicious food, great service, relaxing atmosphere and the great energy from the beautiful jade sculptures!
