Possibly the best Tex-Mex I have ever had will be going back

Wow—what a great place! Food was outstanding—my son said best Mexican food he’s ever had. He had the lobster fajitas, I had the tomatillo enchiladas which were delicious! Cocktails and service were also exceptional. Our server Anand was excellent and so sweet to my 7 yr old granddaughter. This place was truly exceptional for all the right reasons.

This was the best food I’ve eaten in CO. Reasonably priced for Aspen, and easy to get a table. Atmosphere is festive, but beautiful and elegant. Dining room is great for families, while the bar is a cool scene. It’s super high quality, gourmet Tex-Mex. Exceptional blending of flavors without being too heavy on the sodium. Excellent drinks. Excellent queso. World class fajitas. Las Montanas is my new favorite restaurant in Aspen.

Finally a tasty Tex-Mex restaurant in Aspen with frozen margs!

We were seated at a table where the table leaf kept dropping from the locked position, smacking the leg of a person in our party. We alerted our wait staff and they said that the table was known for doing that? They said they weren’t able to seat us at another table due to reservations. We had a 5:00 pm reservation, and felt they should have tried to accommodate us. It was very uncomfortable for our family member. The food was so so, but the servers were on top of it for keeping our water glasses filled. Probably won’t go back simply due to their inadequate response to a faulty table.
