The Alley - Ashland

Really cool. Like 3 bars 2 restaurants 1 owner. Various menus. Was told by a local shop owner to order the Fish Tacos. Very delicious. White fish was not fishy at all tasting was slightly baked and deep fried with a delicious cold hover and a fresh sauce. Only something would have been like a few rain-sized pieces of lime, I had worked a bunch of barely cut limes, although only messy. But surely the lime needed, I'd reorder. You got three for $14. The bar tender was super efficient, friendly with all its guests. It was on Friday noon.

Large wings and a great atmosphere. This place is connected to the brewery. It also has a tidy roof terrace.

Overall very solid, especially the food. We had Bacon Cheeseburger and onion rings, both fantastic! Portion size more than enough! I couldn't even finish my burger. Environment was decent, child sports bar vibe. Our only complaint would be the service. Waitress was very nice, but either overwhelmed, not very good at her job or both unfortunately. We waited for our drinks for at least 10/15 minutes and saw them only once after they brought food and that was to cancel the check. Will probably return, only hope for better staff.

Love comes here when I'm in Ashland. The Creole Whitefish and shrimp are very good. The rice that comes with it is not spectacular, but the fish shrimp and asparagus are fantastic!

We ordered the cauliflower pizza and onion rings. Onion rings were really good...pizza had no flavor, basically tomato sauce on something but definitely NOT a cauliflower crust. We ordered a drink but never saw the server again to order a second, in fact he brought our bill before we even got our pizza and told us to have a great evening. It wasn't that busy and we understand people can get overwhelmed but like I said it wasn't that busy. We are on vacation and just wanted a simple night out. I just wish customer service was still a valued thing. I wish it tasted better.
