Iron Horse - Ashland

We are here for our anniversary and fun events like Ashland Train Day! We usually sit outside for our meals and the service is friendly and efficient! The interior could be some updates in the design and what not, as it is a bit dark and nothing to write at home, but the food is fabulous, and the outdoor seats is beautiful with the flowers and lights. We're coming back!

Always good coming here! Brunch menu was nice but wish they would’ve had more add ons. Black eyed Peas soup was great but could have added rice or corn bread as an option (southern girl here!!! others at our table had the lobster bisque was excellent! Sorry no photos!!! The waffles were amazing as usual!!!

We enjoyed our visit on 7 December. Our waiter Jonathan was fabulous and gave excellent service. We enjoyed pure pumpkin squash soup, a chicken chimer and grilled chicken club with frits. We sat in the bar area at the window to see the possibility to drive the trains on the main road. The restaurant has an old English pub with solid furniture and high ceilings. My husband said the soup was so good that he was transported at a time when his grandmother enjoyed soup. He said this soup is grandma quality soup?. I suppose it depends on your grandmother if it's a compliment or not. You can see the entire Main Street and if you are lucky, you can see a dressed cyclist dancing on his bike - a famous local character!

We were able to enjoy a nice dinner at Iron Horse last Saturday evening with dear friends! The food was very good, I personally enjoyed the chicken pulled BBQ and I would definitely order this again! We shared a piece of raspberry cheesecake and that was excellent! Comfortable atmosphere! It was a little busy and server was definitely kept on their toes. But she was nice and helpful. Beloved to watch the trains happen as we ate! Look forward to coming back soon!!
