Rainier (they are a couple feet from the Nisqually entrance) but worth the drive even if you are not going to the park. We stopped for lunch and had a Tuscan chicken sandwich and a green salad with chicken. The chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly and the blackberry dressing was yummy. And thenthe pie. Delicious with or without ice cream. Bathroom is sort of basic but otherwise beautiful setting and great pie. What more do you want? Food drinks: See above
Paid $8 for a microscopic slice of pie. I guess I should have asked how big the slices were before ordering, but I naively assumed it would be more than a few cubic inches :
Me and my partner had a really nice meal here during our stay at another cabin not at this location. I had the trout which was well seasoned and not dry. Partner had the steak which was cooked perfectly. Our favorite was the blackberry lemonade and the blackberry butter with the mini loaves, I could have made that my while meal! Thank you for an excellent and filling dinner after our long hike!
We tried this restaurant the night prior, but they were closing in 30 minutes. 7 o'clock seems a little early to close especially for a Friday/Saturday night. So, we came back the next night and it was only take out as the waitress was the only one there. But she was friendly and helpful. We ordered the Copper Burger and I was between Chicken Fingers and a Cheeseburger and the waitress recommended the chicken fingers. Unfortunately, they aren't hand breaded. But all was good! Our sides were the garlic parm fries and the onion rings. The fries were good, but the onion rings were not. We are from the Midwest and their ranch was so good!! We also got their Blackberry pie, which was delicious. A little pricy for what you get, but its right outside of the park and there isn't much around. Service: 4 Location: 5
We stopped at the restaurant for breakfast and went back for dinner that evening! The portions are HUGE, but delicious! For breakfast we had the pancakes and Denver scramble. For dinner, the beef stew and bacon bleu burger. You have to try the blackberry pie too it's delicious! Service was friendly and fast. Check the hours before you go because they weren't open everyday during the time we were there. Definitely worth a drive if you're in the area. Service: 5
