I was a bit comprehensible because it's a vegan restaurant. We arrived at 11:30 and sat in a comfortable stand. The restaurant has two levels. We ate down where there is an open air concept. The server came by and brought us each one glass of water and asked if we want to drink something else. You don't have an iced tea, so we both chose water. I asked for a glass of ice that he brought me right away. We started with chips and salsa($4.50), which was very good. I ordered the pad thai with peanut butter Tofu ($10.50) and my friend got the small family meal ($9.50). The pad thai was the best I ever had (although I have to admit that I only had it a few times). It was very tasteful, spicy, sweet and tangie. My friend also enjoyed their meal. She said it's her favorite item in the menu. The potatoes with vegan engraving were excellent, super tasteful. We wanted to split a piece of vegan cheesecake, but were too full. I'm glad I stepped outside my comfort zone and tried something else. Good food, this is good for you, reasonable prices and a restaurant that returns to the community.
We 've been here several times and have never had a problem with the food or the service. Everything comes out delicious and within a reasonable amount of time. I also love that they 're genuinely a very conscientiously run business. I overheard the owner or a manager interviewing a potential employee once and, upon learning that the individual did not have a home at the moment, first asked if this person is safe where they are now. No judgmental tone, no wariness or dismissiveness. That 's pretty remarkable.
Good Food, Friendly People. My wife and I tried the portobello melt and tofu avacado sandwich. I had high hopes for the portobello, but it just good. I can't say much bad about it, but it is also hard to say much more positive about it other than it was good. The tofu avocado sandwich on the other hand was outstanding. The tofu had a nice salty soy sauce flavor paired very well with the cool avacodo. Along with the crunchy onion and lettuce it made for a pretty damn tasty vegan friendly sandwich. I ordered take out, but the inside of the restaurant seamed pretty cool. All the people working there were friendly. It's a great place, and I will definitely try it again.
Unique dinner. Rosetta 's is a very unique restaurant, with really wonderful dishes. We tried several, all delicious. They have an Everyone Eats program . They serve a rice and bean plate that you can pay from $2 $6 depending on what you can afford. If someone can 't afford anything, they can get a voucher that someone else has paid extra. So if you find yourself in Asheville, nc go to Rosetta 's to et and give an extra $20 to feed a few less fortunate .
If you're looking to immerse yourself in local cuisine during your travels, make sure to stop by Rosetta in Asheville. It's hard to find a better spot that captures the essence of the area. The food is absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere is welcoming and lively. One taste will have you coming back for more in no time!
