Narai Kitchen & Bar - Ascot Vale

If you enjoy Thai cuisine, this is the place to visit. Even for those who may have difficulty with spicy food and unfamiliar herbs, every dish at this restaurant is exceptional. If you find yourself here for a family event and are a picky eater, I recommend trying the roti and the incredible homemade satay sauce.

I visited this restaurant with a group of friends. The establishment was beautiful and had plenty of space, comfortable seating, and excellent service. We tried a variety of appetizers, with my personal favorites being the curry puffs and roti bread. For our main courses, we shared dishes like soft shell crab, another seafood curry, and my top choice, the massaman lamb. I would definitely return to this restaurant, especially since we only paid $60 per couple, which I found to be a reasonable price.

The meals are first rate - we had the Curry Puffs, the Panjang Duck and Panang Chicken - all really tasty and tender.Well positioned- the Clearway in Mt Alexander Road ends at 6.30pm- so book for 6.30 and you'll get a park out front.Very friendly staff.

First time to this restaurant and have to say it was a lovely surprise. The restaurant is well set out, and definitely not over crowded. The decor is simple and tasteful, the chairs in particular are very comfortable. The food was as per the previous reviews fresh and super tasty. I am a lover all things Thai food and this restaurant has just moved into the number one Thai restaurant choice for me in Melbourne. The curry puffs (which are not normally my favourite) were to die for!!! The service was a bit hit and miss, although the staff were lovely they did forget us a few times and we had to ask for part of our meal which had been forgotten. Having said that ....we will be back!!!!
