Having been to Thailand many time and being formally trained at a Thai cooking academy, I can say this definitely makes the mark. The Pad Thai is delicious although could use more tamarind. The service was great and the ambiance is very nice. It's a cloudy night outside and they have the entire front of the restaurant open to the air outside, is very lovely! Will definitely return!
We decided to try this place as a last minute dinner choice and we were absolutely amazed. The food was authentic in taste and the service was impeccable. We ordered the yellow curry and the green papaya salad with prawns and soft shell crab. Both dishes were standout and can't wait to go back.
Our new Thai place; conveniently located at the end of our street. Service is always quick and friendly and the food is sublime; definitely better than any others in the neighborhood.. Our favorites are the Choo Chee Rod (fish - yummm..) and the coconut prawns; but everything is seriously good. Highly recommended!
Great Thai restaurant on Racecourse Road. Very friendly and attentive service. Will keep in mind for next visit. Cozy interior and relaxing atmosphere. Feeling like in the Land of Smiles. Try the hot drunken noodles - very yummy and the chilli wasn't overpowering. It was an enjoyable dinner. Thank you
Recently opened Thai restaurant on Racecourse Rd, across from the Hamilton Hotel. Neat, clean and new decor. Ample tables, typically set the Thai way. Business appears to feed off takeaway and deliveries rather than table waiting. We ate, we saw two couples come in to be seated whilst we were there but loads of food being picked up and delivered. Having said that, it was quiet and comfortable. The service was excellent, not because we were the only ones there, it was just good service. The food, while it took a while to come to the table as the takeaways were dominating, appeared freshly cooked, tasted ok and like so many Thai restaurants, was acceptable. The appetisers may have been pre-made and thawed but tasted fine also. Licensed, a few beers on tap, relatively priced, nothing stunning and I think that makes three Thai restaurants in Racecourse Road, so you have choice. We've been there now, nothing special, probably won't go back in the short term unless with friends whom wish to try it as somewhere new.
