Blazing Bird (arvada)

I had high hopes for this restaurant, but I was disappointed. The chicken I ordered was overly dry, and the fries were not fresh, as you can see in the photo. The place itself was clean and well-organized, though. Overall, you can find similar chicken sandwiches nearby. Nothing stood out as special. However, the spicy option was quite good.

If I could give this place zero stars for my awful experience and poor customer service, I absolutely would. I visited 15 minutes ago and was met with a terrible attitude from a young staff member with blonde hair. I had been looking forward to trying this restaurant for a long time, and it was my first visit, but I felt very uncomfortable as if my presence as a customer was more of an inconvenience. While I was trying to place my order, he was rude, impatient, and seemed irritated simply because I was ordering. He kept talking over me, interrupted me, and had a really unpleasant demeanor. It's disappointing that my first visit turned into the worst customer service experience I've ever had, and I certainly won’t be coming back.

I used to really love this restaurant, but it has noticeably declined lately. Each time I order the fries, they somehow get worse. During my last visit, the fries were cold, soggy, and tasted too starchy, almost like they were just frozen fries quickly dipped in oil. The chicken sandwich also disappointed; it had very little breading, didn't taste fresh — in fact, it was chewy and barely warm. Additionally, the spice level was off. It's frustrating because I used to rave about how great this place was, but every experience seems to be worse than the last. For $20 for a sandwich and fries, I expect much better quality.

30+ minute wait time in the restaurant. Subpar food for the price. Overall weird vibe in the restaurant, especially when the worker handed us our food and acted like it wasn't ours? Their Instagram makes this place look good, but we won't be returning.

So we pulled up to the place menu looked awesome, was pretty stoked to try. There's a big family sat so we figure it's gonna be a bit. No problem. They start getting their food little by little, figure we're next. Another 10 min pass and this dude who came after us gets his food. Confused but whatever it's fast food shouldn't be much longer. Another 20 min goes by and my GF gets up to ask the cashier how much longer on the order. She says they didn't start on it WTF Apparently the chef left and some other dude is there, looking like he didn't know his job was to cook the food. Cashier says the owners aren't answering the phone. Unsure what that had to do with it but I feel bad for her if that's the kind of. incompetence she has to deal with. Food looked good but that's enough for us to not come back
