Best Japanese pastry, bun, bento box in Illinois. Heck, it's even better than some of the pastry shop in Japan. If you want to place order for hot food, please order 30 minutes ahead. Master chef prepare hot meals fresh after you place the order, Is it worth the wait? I would wait 1 hour if I have to. It's that good. It's a family owned business. Their price is ridiculously inexpensive. Bento box of the day is $8.75. Where on earth in Illinois can you find a freshly made to order bento box made by real Japanese professional pastry baker/chef for $8.75. That's 90s price without inflation. The only reason I can't post what I ate, because I couldn't wait to take pictures. I ate it all.... This place is a treasure box. Please be kind .

The food is excellent, fresh pastries, breads, and more, and you really can't beat the prices! So affordable! I love their durian cream, it can be hard to find such a unique flavor. They pull it off masterfully. I'll be trying their bento of the day on my next visit!

So yummy!! my favorites were the melon pan and the curry pan. good prices, i got like 6 different breads and a drink for around 20$ definitely recommend

Freshly made, several choices and very friendly staff. *Note make sure you call/check with them if you want a specific item because they make everything fresh, quantities are limited.
