The appetizer menu is small but delicious. We enjoyed the Bademjan, Greek yogurt flavored with scallions, and Ash te rashtak lentil bean soup (though it could use a bit more salt). The warm Pita bread was excellent. Our only choice for the main course was the sabzi kabab served with grilled vegetables, which we found to be overpriced. The Persian tea tasted like black tea. The appetizers deserve four stars. The server seemed unappreciative of the tip we left and acted oddly after we paid.
Beautiful meal with unique dishes not easy to find in the area of Boston. This place has generous portions for a great value for food and wine. Service is fast and friendly. If you are looking for something else for your meal, don't look further!
I visited this restaurant for the first time today and I definitely plan to return. The menu is a bit limited, but since it was my first time trying Persian/Iranian food, it was actually a pleasant surprise. I ordered the Soltani, which consisted of meatball skewers and Sirloin steak skewers served with rice, roasted tomatoes, and pickled cabbage, all of which were delicious. I enjoyed it, but next time I might opt for the meatball skewer and veggie skewer combo to incorporate more vegetables. The restaurant was cozy and not too crowded during lunch on Sunday. I appreciated the homey decor and the natural light that streamed in through the large windows.
This restaurant is small and cozy, with excellent food and service. The rice dish was one of the best I've ever had. I would definitely recommend this place!
Absolutely delicous Persian food. juicy meat, not over cooked, not over spiced. Bademjan is a must have. Reasonably priced and nice service. The place is small but we went there for party of 8 on saturday 6pm reservation made earlier) and did not wait for the food and left the place with all hapoy and satisfied faces. Good Job Sabzi!
