The Liberty Tavern - Arlington

I really enjoyed having lunch in the renovated upstairs area, but I was disappointed to find out that they no longer offer a buffet, which was the main reason I came here in the first place. Now, it feels like just another brunch spot. What a pity!

The hamburgers and calamari were fantastic! The coffee and beer were also excellent. The upstairs area was quiet and perfect for a pleasant lunch with friends. The staff was friendly and ensured that we were satisfied, including the cook. We were seated near the kitchen upstairs, but there was no pressure for us to leave, allowing us to enjoy our time together. A big thank you to the upstairs staff on 1-4-2023! We will definitely be back!

The food at this restaurant was overall delicious, but the Mac-n-cheese had a floury taste that was not quite to my liking. The chicken piccata was just average, and I felt like I could have made a similar dish at home. We arrived late at 8:30, but even though the kitchen was closing soon, each dish should still be prepared with care. The steaks were cooked perfectly to our requests, and the other appetizers were delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely, making it a great spot for a romantic date or a get-together with friends.

We love coming to Liberty Tavern for unlimited brunch small plates. Everything is delicious. A fun and festive place to come with a group.

Our party of 5 enjoyed a delicious brunch at Liberty Tavern. The managers and staff accommodated our request for an outside table (and dogs) and, even though we were the only patrons outside on Christmas Eve day, the servers were cheerful attentive, bringing us plate after small plate of very tasty food and bottomless mimosas. The manager even took a group photo (yes my holiday card will be late). We’ve never had a bad experience ant Liberty Tavern and will definitely go back.
