Metro 29 Diner - Arlington

The dinner is ok, not bad. Great matza ball soup. But I go for the breakfast. The french toast is the best, because they make it with h challah bread that they also make. It is so creamy, eggy, and custardy on the inside. But crunchy on the outside. The best!! Sometimes keeping a meal simple instead of loading it up with fruit and other toppings is the way to go. Butter and syrup and that’s it. Heaven!

I’ve been coming here for 20+ years. Always spectacular food. My former boss and I would eat here a few times a week about 20 years ago. He was in town from Denver and insisted that we eat here. They clearly remembered him and treated him like a king. The food, as always, was superb! I can kick myself for not bringing home a slice of one of their amazing cakes, pies, or sweet treats. Major eye candy in this restaurant! NOVA rocks!

Best food ever I ordered Ribeye Steak well done. I have never had a well done steak so juicy and tender!!!!! They give you plenty of food too!!!!!!!! Found me a new spot!!!!!!

The best coffee and bacon I have ever had. A real treasure for breakfast. We ended up in Arlington by chance and Googled it. Everything was wonderful

French toast was amazing !! good food excellent service I will come back to this place on my next trip to DC area .
