It's a small restaurant, and I've never noticed it before, but my friend likes Chinese, and the place we were planning to go was closed, so we decided to give it a try. We had a simple meal of Chicken Vegetable Noodle Soup and Lamb and Lamb Steamed Dumplings but it was delicious. The soup broth was perfect, not too sweet or salty, and filled with vegetables, in addition to the chicken. The noodles were plentiful and perfectly cooked. I took home a full extra bowl of soup . Sake was warming. The restaurant is simply decorated but clean. Although we were the first guests at 4:30 pm, by the time we left at 6:00, every table was taken. We discovered that our hostess/waitress was also doing everything--all the food prep as well. She said although she was on her own, she couldn't simply offer take-out, as hot pot is the main offering of the restaurant. In spite of being on her own, she didn't appear to be stressed or rushed. If you go, leave her a big tip!
The flesh was on the dry side. but they charge for sauces! they charge $1 for garlic $1 for skorallion. it's ridiculous. back to early shabu or other places where sauces are free. for $1 they gave me a little bit of bbq sauce. never again. price is better off to everything they can eat.
Food is so average. Probably won't go back since there are far better hot pot places available nearby.
Friendly and attentive spot with delicious hot pot. We ordered the chicken black bone broth, basically chicken broth, and a variety of meats and veggies. The fatty lamb is fantastic. All of the veggies were fresh and crisp. Good beef and pork balls. Good portions as well
