I think the toppings/ ingredients really compliment the dish. When I go to other ramen shops they don’t have many vegetables in their Tonkotsu, It’s mostly onions and cilantro. I also really enjoy the broth it’s very smooth and rich with flavor. Other ramen places broth tends to be watered down in my opinion. The noodles are amazing here! The texture of the ramen noodles seems just right. Another thing I really like is the packaging for to go. It is the best in my opinion! I love the plastic containers and how they wrap it in Saran Wrap to secure the food.
What started as a welcoming customer service experience ended terribly. This was my first time visiting Kintaro Ramen Restaurant. A lady who appeared to be in management provided assistance when we walked in and asked questions. She was over me on the kiosk and really appeared helpful. In hindsight, I realized the kiosk didn't highlight all chicken (which I remember clicking). We sat down, and I was excited that our food had come out. Soon after, I noticed my ramen bowl was wrong. I asked the same lady if this was pork. She said yes, and I told her I could not eat pork, and she just took my plate and walked away. Leaving us there for over 5 minutes while she hid in the kitchen unavailable. Leaving me without a refund or update on remaking my plate. She helped me initially and understood it was my first time. Sadly I will not visit this place ever again!
I had the karashi tonkotsu. The soup is very tasty and flavorful. I ordered the mild flavor. If this is your first time ordering this dish, I would recommend trying the mild flavor. I think it's spicy enough. I'm sure you don't want to lose your taste buds while eating or trying to down a whole bottle of water to quench the burning in your mouth. The ambiance is nice. It's a very limited seating restaurant. I came on Sunday at 6. Therefore, we didn't have to wait for the table. Their appertize selection is pretty good. We have the French fries with toppings, and it's pretty good. I will come back to try other flavor soups.
This is a great place to get ramen close to UTA. You order first on the iPads and then sit down and wait about 10 minutes for your food to come out. Be careful, their spicy ramen is actually pretty spicy! There’s outdoor and indoor seating but there’s not a lot of seats available if you come at a busy time. Parking is available on the side and garage.Vegetarian options: They do have a vegetarian option for ramen.Parking: You can park on the street on the sides of the buildings, the ones in front out 20 minutes only.
My wife and I went to eat and it was a 10/10! Really great customer service and very polite! The food flavor and spices hit every bite. Highly
