I ordered a take for two by phone. order was punctual, it was excellent quality, generous portions, very tasty and not excessively expensive. in many respects as good as we are on the mainland. well made dragon golden.
Really delicious, fast and piping hot! only cash taken what was a small problem (hence 4 stars).
It was not possible to get anywhere else, so it was a bit a last minute. eating was good, decent portion size and good prices. had to pay extra for chips/rice, but ok other than that
We ordered two dishes, chicken curry and Szechuan, with rice and spring rolls. The curry was bland and greasy, but the Szechuan was tasty. The spring rolls were burnt and lacked flavor. The meal was quite expensive for such basic dishes.
I visited Islay during the festival and, due to my poor planning of not making reservations at other local restaurants, I ended up here as a last resort. The menu on the window advertised Thai and Chinese cuisine, but I found it to be a bit of a stretch. We ordered pad Thai and panang curry. The pad Thai was very dry and the curry tasted more like Indian curry rather than Thai. It was brown in color instead of the vibrant red I expected, and it lacked the traditional Thai flavors. The staff member on duty, who I assume was the owner, spent the entire time on their phone in the dining area and provided poor service. We asked for water but never received it. The only time they got off their phone was to give us our change, and they had a smile that seemed to suggest they were expecting a tip, which I gave regardless.
