Golden Wok Cafe - Ardsley

My mom and sister love this place! They have an entire menu with gluten-free options. Many Chinese restaurants cannot accommodate gluten-free customers but this place goes above and beyond. This is also my favorite Chinese food restaurant but it's a trek to get to for us. It's definitely worth it though! I usually get the chicken lo mein and general tso's chicken with brown rice. We have only gotten food to-go from here so I can't speak on the atmosphere of the restaurant itself or the servers but the majority of our experiences ordering from here has been positive! We think one time they messed up my sister's order and gave her a gluten-dish as opposed to gluten-free which was an issue, but other than that our meal experience has been great.

Convenient but the food is so bland. Not very friendly, but there plenty of free parking. Ask for house mustard because the food is bland. But good size portions!

Honestly had forgotten this place existed as we've been relying on the Central Avenue spots for our Chinese food needs. And I never like the other small Ardsley takeout places . O'man really takes the **** by not having trad fried rice and being pricy and the HMart food court got rid of my favorite fish dish. So fate brought me to this strip mall. I've been really happy with our last orders here at the Man with the Golden Wok: standards like shrimp fried rice, chicken corn soup were done well. The hot pepper shrimp was excellent. I would give it 41/2 stars but Yelp does no half steppin'.

This place is definitely one of the best restaurants in the region. Anytime I come to this place I am truly happy. They keep their high level service and the topmost level of food they offer. You will be always satisfied with this place. Warmly recommended.
