Les Planches - Antibes

We had dinner and lunch here and found the staff warm and welcoming and the food excellent. We will definitely return .

This restaurant was recommended by a couple of friends and we were not disappointed. We were greeted warmly with a few jokes about the dog. Service and food was good, sat in a nice shady place in a quiet corner which suited us. Will go back again.

This modern bistro/cafe is situated right opposite the beach in Juan Les Pins. We came for lunch and had a bit of a mixed experience my friend declared his bavette steak the best he'd eaten in France (high praise! and my salad chevre was very nice also. However they had run out of mussels which was a disappointment as we'd specifically chosen the place because they served them, and worse, my boyfriend's club sandwich came about 20 minutes after the other meals, was stone cold and missing the bacon, pretty shoddy really. There was no apology or discount on this from the man who served us (possibly the owner? who seemed to be trying to serve the entire place single handedly and failing. I heard several other people complaining about slow/cold food also...

We stopped by for coffee and also ate here on several occasions... super, friendly welcome, great menu and good honest, tasty food at a fair price..
