The French provincial food is always delicious. A good variety and service is good. The server remembered my husband from our last visit two years ago. We always love their homemade desserts. Too full this time to try the lemon desert.
Nice people, great food! The lamb fell off the bone. Never disappointed and looking forward to coming back!
French quality lunch in cozy street. Everyting we ordered was good. Same sides but thats part of the charm. Price was normal ( EUR 15 a dish) and very fair for the quality.
Some friends and I visited Antibes on a little jaunt from Cannes. We wandered around for a fair while trying to find somewhere open with a tiny patch of sun on a winter's day (and that offered some good French food - we are tourists, after all). What a find! Les papille turned out to be exceptional. A delightful owner who was not only friendly and attentive, but actually spent time discussing our homes, jobs, preferences, and holiday, despite her limited English and my terrible French. I loved it.The food was exquisite. We all shared the plat du jour, st jaques, magret de canard and chevre salad. All were brilliant, but the duck was possibly the best I've ever had - cooked to rosy perfection and starved with a rich sauce. For dessert we shared the floating island, prune flan thing (apologies I cannot recall the name), tarte citron, and tarte pomme. All delcious, but the floating isle was the winner (in the prestigious Dessert Olympics that occurred at our table). With 2 carafes of rose, 4 mains, 4 desserts and 3 coffees (not counting the free deliciously garlic-y hors d'oeuvres and post-lunch limoncelo) our bill came to about €27 each for 4 people.I would definitely recommend this restaurant, and my thanks to the delightful owner, her daughter, and the chef.
