I requested that her cheeseburger be prepared away from any mayonnaise to ensure her safety. While I knew that cheeseburgers typically do not contain mayonnaise, I wanted to emphasize the seriousness of my daughter's allergies. Unfortunately, the response from the employees was extremely disrespectful. One employee rudely pointed out that mayo is not used on cheeseburgers, while another jokingly pretended to squirt mayonnaise on my daughter's food, leading to laughter from the rest of the staff. This behavior is unacceptable and I do not take my daughter's allergies lightly. Despite being a longtime fan of McDonald's, I will not be returning to this location after this experience.
My granddaughter is involved in the drama program at Des Moines Area Community College. After her rehearsal on July 12, I decided to stop by McDonald's to grab a quick sandwich, fries, and drinks for the two of us. However, on my way there, I spontaneously decided to buy hamburgers for everyone in the cast since it was raining and they hadn't had lunch yet. I arrived at the restaurant around 2 p.m. and ordered 20 hamburgers, 10 bags of small fries, a special fish sandwich for myself, a bottled water, and a mocha frappe without whipped cream for my granddaughter. The employee who took my order expressed that I should have called ahead for such a large order, but I explained that I had just made the decision on the spot. Despite this, there were some hiccups in the order process, including whipped cream being added to the frappe despite my request for no topping. The overall experience was disappointing, especially considering the $38+ spent, as I usually find the McDonald's on Merle Hay Road to be a friendlier establishment.
Called in due to Incorrect order. Spoke to manager she was very rude when told her order was wrong wasnt handed a receipt. Tried to clarify order she laughed told us to drive back even tho said they close in 20 mins like we live 2 mins away which we don’t. Young fella was nice and respectful. Manager a B don’t recommend her at all. Coming from a HR rep ?
They were already a dozen times here. consistently long times (15 minutes at least per time) to fulfill the order. eating is also consistently bad quality, not only eating cheap, but as it is prepared not for the standard of mcdonald. the proper filling of the order is always a hate. I believe that is one, if not the worst qualified mcdonald’s, which I have commanded over many. I wouldn't recommend it.
Crazy, how many bad reviews this has. my family visit here often and the staff are nothing but friendly. never had problems order and the foods always warm. I mean, yes we had a few orders not filled properly, but it was rare and it wasn't a big thing. love this place personally
