Buffalo Wild Wings - Ankeny

Went Monday July 10th about 6 pm walked in restaurant smells like it needs a deep cleaning got seated tried ordering this sample appetizer was told sorry can't asked why first was told kitchen didn't want to turn oven on because it was 87 outside? LoL when I questioned that then was told no tortilla chips ok so go buy some corn tortillas and make some or just buy them premade wow so no nachos, or chips and queso, guacamole, salsa etc ?then my wife ordered a wrap no buffalo sauce yup you guessed it came with buffalo sauce on it , at this point I just ordered wings online because they were cheaper than on the menu along with fountain drinks 1.99 online 3.49 in the restaurant when my food was supposed to be ready to pick up I went and looked nope nothing I asked and ya we'll get it right out you could see the cook or kitchen supervisor sitting on the counter visiting WOW awful someone needs to grab some cleaner and clean this dump up so it does not smell and grab a broom and clean house i.e. fire and hire responsible, kitchen staff that have initiative just wish I had two more thumbs so I could give this location 4thumbs down don't waste your time and money

Huge shoutout to Emily who was working the lunch rush today! She was so on top of everything. And despite having a full section she had a smile on her face the whole time and was so kind and welcoming! She was rushing around like crazy and still managed to check on us every few minutes to be sure everything was up to standards! She was so focused on making sure everything was absolutely perfect and got to us quickly! We were only in the restaurant for a total of 35 minutes!!! Highly recommend Emily as your server!!

We are new to Iowa and decided to give BWW a chance here CA version was AWFUL) So glad we did! The atmosphere is fun, the staff is fast and courteous and the food was great. Will definitely be back.

The atmosphere at this Buffalo Wild Wings was typical. However, the service was slow to seat us and slow to acknowledge our presence, even though it was not very busy. The drinks were below average and the food portions seemed more fitting for children. While my wings were good, my burger looked undersized and the meat was unappetizing. The portion of fries I received was very small, unlike the generous servings at other Buffalo Wild Wings locations. It was disappointing to see this establishment slipping in quality.

B Dubs in Ankeny offers a fantastic dining experience! Don't miss out on trying their pretzel ball appetizers, which come with everything but the bagel seasoning instead of salt - they are incredibly delicious, especially when served with the beer cheese dipping sauce! Our server, Hannah, was fantastic and even explained to us why our dishes were coming out at different times. The only downside was that it seemed like the kitchen could be more organized to better coordinate the timing of the dishes. There were sometimes 10 to 15 minutes between dishes arriving at our table, making it awkward for one person to have their meal while the other was waiting. It was apparent that some dishes had been sitting under a warmer before being served.
