Runway Cafe - Angleton

Really cool. It is literally right next to the runway. People fly in to eat here. Taxi up and get something to eat! The food is really good. Outdoors allow you to watch the planes during the meal. Four stars because of slow service and empty drinks.

Sweet spot you can be sure is open. The cook makes big rubber bears, Asian cuisine and Mexican kaldo. Fun atmosphere with small airplanes land and take off. Pilots fly for lunch and then take off again. Very enjoyed.

What can I say about the Runway Cafe, except it is very hard to get a place at times, I think it says all about their food, I have come to the Runway for some time and they have always excellent food. The owner is a very outgoing to talk to his guest and his staff is the same, very polite and professional. After the church on Sunday a few of us will go for lunch, a few is usually over 10 and more like 15 and they are always ready to accommodate what a lot we have. For the excellent food and great service this place gets 4 stars from me. Another beautiful day and a great lunch awaits us here at The Runway Cafe. We all started with a good salad and then I ordered fried shrimps and catfish on a bed of french french fries. The food is good except that her seafood Gumbo was terrible, the shrimp was raw. There was too much way or file in it. I sent it back. They replaced it with good crab cakes.

Very good food.They brought my husband juice when as his sugar level dropped low at no charge. Was very attentive an kept checking on him.very nice people.
