Tommy's Burger Stop - Anchorage

The place is truly one of those hole in the wall places that serves amazing food reasonable prices. We had the Outlaw burger and the Halibut po’boy. Both were delicious. We split a basket of fries that was enough for 4!! Service was friendly fast. Be aware, there are only 3 tables inside, so be prepared to take your food to go out sit outside. We were fortunate enough to snag one of the tables. Will definitely be returning!

Tommy's Burger Stop has won recognition year after year because it is popular with the locals. This unpretentious burger and sandwich restaurant serves up unique, scrumptious and filling food. They keep busy because their regular customers keep coming back. My wife and I stopped there and really liked the food. We like to try local flavors and culture. I recommend Tommy's Burger Stop.

The burgers were OK (not cajun seasoned as stated on their website/menu) and the onion rings were your basic, frozen onion rings. Nothing to come back for.

I was really excited to try Tommy’s Burger Stop, especially because holes in the wall are usually pretty good. Overall, I wasn’t blown away by Tommy’s. I had the Mini Stop and it tasted alright, nothing special, not even a special house sauce or anything. It comes with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and cheese. I also had the onion rings and they were okay—lots of breading and not much onion to them. I’m glad I stopped at Tommy’s but I don’t think I’d go out of my way to eat here again. Plenty of parking for this hole in the wall. Four tables available in the patio.

Very generous serving! The food is absolutely DELICIOUS! We recommend this place! If you are a small eater, consider sharing one meal between two persons. Their hamburgers are one of the best i ever had!
