The Cubby - Anchorage

The redesigned Cubby Café inside the Hotel Captain Cook is fantastic! Spacious, modern, and lots of natural light in this expanded space on the ground floor of the Hotel. There’s even a large conference table for those offsite coffee meetings with coworkers. The baristas make excellent drinks (and always piping hot) and there’s a growing variety of food options too. Highly recommend a visit whether you’re staying at the Hotel or not.

The Cubby is a great place to relax with your coffee and snack while enjoying the comfortable furniture and street views. The Cubby is located in the Captain Cook Hotel near the elevators. If you're boarding a bus then you should consider taking a coffee and cookie along with you. I will caution you that if The Cubby is busy it could take a while because there is only one employee and checkout. Give yourself some time should you arrive during a rush. I am eating what may be the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had (Northern Slope w/reindeer sausage). Staying at the Captain Cook and happened to see The Cubby located within. I know what I’ll be having for breakfast every morning. ~Celeste from Kansas
