Momma Os Seafood - Anchorage

Loved this place. Great service, and amazing food. Pretty good prices too; two good sized lobster tails for only $36. The restaurant was small, but felt cozy and coast-like. The workers were very polite, and didn’t harass with questions, and allowed us to instead eat and enjoy our food. Would heavily recommend for a nicely inexpensive yet still high quality and delicious meal.

Disgusting food and easy over priced. I'm sorry but I can not let this go unshared. Cooks here know nothing about preparing and properly cooking food. See the photo attached. The clans were nearly as bad and my son's halibut was grilled too long. Dry and flavorless.They tried to make it right by frying more up for me only it was delivered saturated in oil. Dripping with oil.Calling yourself a seafood restaurant doesn't make you a seafood restaurant. And how any one gives this did a pass blows me away.Staff was nice about it but they know nothing about cooking seafood.

Had some fried calamari and grilled halibut, sauce is average but I can tell the fish is fresh and the cooking is perfect. Also the staff patiently explained the menu as we were first time

Our waitress was wonderful. She stayed happy and pleasant even though members of our group could be very annoying. I ordered the shrimp tacos and they were delicious. Others had fried clams cheeseburgers and scallops. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Place reminded me of a takeaway Greek place in London. The ambiance factor is 0.

This is a place that I almost don't want to share about. I want to keep it as my own hidden yummy getaway. I had the broccoli pasta and the sauce was transcendant. I also had a side of fried okra. It was great and loved the service and atmosphere. Don't come looking for me here, I'm trying to enjoy my new favorite restaurant.
