Mandala - Anchorage

The dining experience was fantastic. The food was fresh and had wonderful flavors. I tried the gajar halwa, which was also very tasty. I couldn't fault anything with the food or service. The chef even came out personally to ask about our preferences. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant when in town.

I have tried Indian food in many places across several countries, and I must say that Mandala serves some of the best I have ever had. The Mango Lassi, in particular, stands out as an exceptional example of their high-quality dishes. Overall, Mandala has exceeded the standards of any 5-star restaurant I have visited. The main course dishes were superb, although the samosas fell slightly short in comparison. Nevertheless, I am eager to return to Mandala for another delicious meal.

This restaurant serves the best food ever! Everything from the ambiance, decor, food, and overall experience is perfect. If you're looking for Indian/Nepalese cuisine, look no further than this place. We definitely plan on returning in the future! We ordered the Malai Kofta, Dal Tadka, and Kheer dessert, and all of them were delicious!

I decided to try the butter chicken as my main course, and it was absolutely perfect. The dish was not only incredibly delicious, but something I believe anyone would enjoy. Following that, I couldn't resist ordering the pappadi chat as an appetizer - and it was truly phenomenal. Though it's labeled as an appetizer, I could easily see myself ordering it for a main course during lunch or dinner. While the restaurant may be on the smaller side, it exudes a cozy and intimate atmosphere. From the beautifully presented dishes to the crisp white tablecloths, everything felt meticulously curated. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone without hesitation.
