Our party of 4 adults were there on a Saturday evening, one of the party had food allergies and we were assured this was no problem and they would cook her food in the back. After the 3 of us at the main grill had our food, we asked the waiter about the remaining dish and were assured that it would be brought out when ready. We waited and waited, and finally, she went in to check, and her food had been given away to someone else who legitimately said it wasn't theirs, so it was tossed. She then had to get back in the buffet line to rebuild her entire meal as we were all done our first and ready for 2nd. One person had already started their second dish, so they went ahead with it and ate while she did. It was an overall horrible experience, and we will definitely not be returning. The waiter also didn't follow up at all after being the one to assure us that the original dish would be delivered to the table. And our water was never refilled, nor were we asked if we would like refills on our cocktails (surprise we did not, they were terrible)
The wait staff were a little burnt out. Cold beers tho.
Overall, good food but service was lacking. There’s something for everyone, even hotdogs (never thought I’d see that at a Mongolian grill). It’s ayce (all you can eat) but the kids price seems a little much since they didn’t eat more than 1 plate. Our server only checked on us once and we had to ask for refills repeatedly from other servers. Even when we were done, she took over 10 minutes to give us the check with a mostly empty dining room at 8:00 pm.
Food was good but service was poor. Had friends join us that had already eaten so they were not eating just had drinks and an appetizer but the staff was watching us like hawks thinking they were there to share food. The server forgot to ring my child’s order and we sat there waiting while everyone ate. I gave him a couple of my Croutons since he was starving/whining and they were taking forever. The server comes and tells us we can’t share or we will be charged for a kids salad. Then before she left it dawned on her that we wanted a quesadilla for him. So she said “hey were you all planning on ordering him a quesadilla because i think i overheard you talking about it”. We said yes we ordered one. So she then got it for us not apologizing for her error. It was so uncomfortable eating there, everyone watches you when you eat, I’m assuming to make sure you don’t share from your plate especially in tables where not everyone got a all you can eat meal. They kept asking if we were done at least 5 times. I guess they were fearful one of our friends would pick off our plate or something.. very weird and awkward. Even when you come in to the restaurant they instruct someone from your party to read the rules and explain to everyone. Such a turnoff .. they are so worried about someone sharing that they ruin the mood. Not sure what they deal with daily but they need to learn how to be more tactful. I never go to all you can eat restaurants, maybe I’m wrong and it’s just the M.O for bargain restaurants.. either way I wouldn’t recommend if you’re use to fine dining.
