Casa Rangel Authentic Mexican - Anaheim

Eating is decent, it is hit or measures depending on what they order. I'm not a big fan of burritos here, but the tacos are good. the staff is very friendly, but they gave me the wrong one, the last time I was here, so they had to get the food back. they have recently rebuilt so that it is much more modern and open. if they are in the opposite, they should rather visit Mexican restaurants.

Just came back after a few months. The whole menu and place has changed. Ordered the Huevos Rancheros and it was probably the best I have had. Highly recommend!

Just came in after the changes. I guess new ownership. Been coming for nearly 20 years but I am pretty sure it was a different name back then. What kept us coming back was the Chili Verde the best in the area IMHO. New recipe is ok but not the same. The Chorizo burrito was also Go To but recipe seems to be new. Ok but not the same. I prefer the original salsa and chips. The changes on the interior are nice! Will keep trying to give them our business but if they could go back to original recipes I'll be back for sure. Good luck

Unfortunately it appears this place has changed ownership. Been going here for 12 years. Food, sauces and salsa are all different from the previous owner's recipes and tasted horrible to us. So disappointed, even the rice and beans were not good. Also, I waited 30 minutes for a very simple order and the place was empty. Will not go back, I guess it's the end of an era....

Went for lunch today 1/4/22 and the place has been remodeled. Ordered my favorite Green Chile Verde plate which is usually awesome. It was horrible, greasy, bland and not like it used to be. Did this place switch owners?
