Black Sheep - Anaheim

From all places to eat at the Anaheim Packing District, I chose the Black Sheep GCB because I recently saw another grilled cheese place in Miami, FL and I just wanted to see how they compared. First, Black Sheep is on the 2nd. Level to the right as soon as you enter. They got a lot of Merck to buy (e.g. camper coffee cups, tea shirts, baseball caps, aprons) including a little grilled cheese key chain for $7 if you like these things. Secondly, their menu consists of 9 items and a special, all average about $8. You can drink one side of tomato soup or chips for $3. I have the #6 that is the sharp Cheddar Swiss, while my husband tried their specialty, The Hot Chick, which consists of habanero Jack cheese, caramelized onions and Zilantro lemon cream chicken. I wanted the tomato soup with my grilled cheese, but they ran... probably because it was also close. Sad. But I tried her beer. The grilled cheese was beautiful and toasty from outside, melting and gooey on the inside. It was somehow clear, but without this tomato soup, so I think I have to come back and try it with another kind of grilled cheese. My husband liked his sandwich, but it was too sharp for him. Overall we had a nice experience and the service was great. I didn't catch the name of the guy who took our order, but he was faint and friendly. Would come back!

I ordered the porchetta grilled cheese and it fulfilled my expectations. Great selection of grilled cheese sandwiches.

When I tell you that the K-melt was the best grilled cheese in the Black Sheep I ever had in my life. I had it with Jalapeños, because I'm not a fan of sharp, but my brother had it with the Jalapeño and we both destroyed these sandwiches. It was grilled with perfection, and so tasteful it would make you want to sing and dance it was so good. I'll be back! 10 out of 10 would recommend everyone and they mama!
