The Plant Base - Amherstburg

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious and the owner was very friendly and welcoming. They even gave me lavender oil and ice for my wasp sting and packed up half of my sushi bowl salad to take home. I left feeling satisfied and happy to leave them their first review.

I appreciate the vegan menu options available in Amherstburg. However, I found that most of the dishes were just overpriced salads served in a glass.

I had a great experience with the plant base. I ordered cheesecake and the cheekberry quinoa salat and both items were ready on time and were delicious! the owner/manager is wonderful to treat with and very accommodating. paige also works there and is very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. so glad to have healthy options in the city and the Quinoa salad is my go to element to bring bbqs.
