Flutterbye Jamaican Caribbean Cuisine

I returned to this local restaurant months after my first visit and was not disappointed. The food was delicious and freshly prepared by the owner. It was all very good.

If you were in Jamaica, you would know that this place is the real deal. Don't be fooled by its appearance, because the owner's passion for the art of cooking shines through in every dish. We will definitely be returning for the delicious chicken with cheek sauce.

VI Rail wrote an evaluation of this place, and they were not exaggerated when they said that Donna's Ruck Chicken with chickpea sauce is lick-the-plate pure delicious. I have lived in Jamaica and can testify that Donna's food is the right thing. Your Pattys are the Genuine Street Food from Jamaica. As courtesy for the majority of their clientele, the wort is torn down. But if you call, it can prepare your dish with characteristic Jamaican heat. Donna also catering: you can order patties (mild or hot) or other dishes for events or office dinners. Instead of being strange in a large common room at Sobey's Mall on South Albion Street.

The food is always great and very fast served, the host and cook is a wonderful woman who creates a great meal every time! 10/10 would recommend!

We tried this because it seemed an unusual change from seafood during our stay in Amherst. Our only regret was that we weren't going to be there long enough to visit again. The food was amazing. We LOVED the beef patties and the coconut curry...shrimp. The owner served us and had time to talk. She was gregarious, interesting, helpful, and courteous. We may be in Amherst again next year and look forward to visiting Flutterbye again in their new location. Can't wait!
