Their twilight rates are often only $20-$25 more than the going rate at the muni courses, but these courses are infinitely better. So worth it. My only complaint is that I played twilight rates shortly after 5pm twice in July, and couldn't finish 18 before sundown, both times. Super slow 4-somes taking 10 minutes on the green, 10 minutes on the tee box, every hole. I know this is not the fault of the course managers, just expect it when the weather is nice, or even if it's 95 degrees. Book an earlier tee time, and wait, wait, wait. Your round will cost you 5-6 hours but you will love it, if you finish. We couldn't get through the front nine in almost 3 hours today, and EVERYBODY made the turn.
Date of play: 9 20 22 Absolutely incredible golf experience. I'm from STL Missouri and was in town and wanted to play a round. I happened to pick the best course in the area. This is in the same league of quality and conditions as Paynes Valley, Tiger's new course in Branson Missouri. And I wanted to give a tip of the cap to Don the starter on the north course. A world class Starter Marshall. Thanks for the great experience Don!
Was pleasantly surprised on our return visit. Seem like they updated a lot since even just a few years ago. New menu items slightly different atmosphere and gorgeous deck. Must visit while you're in the area or catching a round of golf.
Decent course in decent condition. They overwater it to a pretty extreme degree to keep the image up for photos, but it truly hurts the quality of gold when it’s soggy in the summer when it shouldn’t. Additionally, it is frustrating to pay over $100 for a round and still have to pay for range balls. That’s some muni level stuff. First class courses do not nickel and dime for range balls if you’re playing. Lastly, no coolers on the carts?Do yourself a favor play Langdon Farms. Less expensive, better drainage, range balls are included, carts have coolers, plus free water and ice in them. That’s how golf should be. Reserve is a bit of a money grab.I’ll still play it a few times per year just for variety, but would play it a whole heck of a lot more if they didn’t leave such a bad taste from the apparent greed.
We had our wedding here 10/01/2022. Gina (the venue coordinator) did an amazing job jumping in and taking over last minute for the previous coordinator (Kameron). We didn’t have to worry about anything due to the organization of the staff! The day was flawless and beautiful! The food was amazing, and you just can’t beat the views by the pond! I’m so happy we had our wedding here. Thank you very much to The Reserve for a perfect day!
