Thai Nakorn - Alexandria

The food is delicious, with convenient takeout service directly through the restaurant. The panang curry and pad Thai have been favorites.

Beat Thai food I've had in NoVa. Get the duck basil. Really good. Sadly they only do takeout.

Given the positive reviews, we were excited to try this out. Really disappointing. The pad thai has little more flavor than instant ramen. Duck was dry and tough. Fried rice was so bland it looked boiled. Drunken noodles were very good, hence two star review instead of one.

Doesn't look like much outside or inside, but food was wonderful! Most authentic Thai food in the area!

Absolutely love the food at Thai Nakorn. Everything is always delicious and fresh, and plenty of ways to customize your order as needed. The family who owns it is incredibly kind. Only disappointment is that since COVID they have not reopened for sit-down dining in the dining room. Just tables and chairs stacked up. We used to enjoy sitting in a booth for our meal and many times I met friends there for the occasional lunch. Hoping they reconsider opening the dining room.
