Taberna La Aurora - Alcalá de Guadaira

I have to be honest, this restaurant is just a few metres from my house. The food is good, surprisingly so for a 'back-street ' bar. We had bacalao fritos, which were just gorgeous. Very friendly waiter/owner, and the whole bar has a family appeal to it. A some very good wines available, too.

We stopped here on our way from Portugal to Malaga, the place is close to the highway and it had good reviews so we decided to give it a try, and it was a great idea! The owner is very friendly and the food is excellent and tasty. Great quality for an affordable price (45€ for 5 people), if we ever end up in Alcalà again we'll definitely eat here once more!

Found this travelling from Seville to Malaga airport. It fitted the bill as it was 5 mins from the highway as we were passing at lunch time. It is a Spanish bar, looked deserted and my family were quite worried about eating there. Well, we had a wonderful lunch and everyone loved it. The menu is all in Spanish but take your online dictionary and be adventurous. Everything was wonderful and extremely good value at about 40 euros for 4 hungry people. We had the merluza rosa fish) very lightly battered, churasco steak) of pork and chicken, chips with eggs and chorizo, timbale of tuna and rice, and chicharrones which translates as pork crackling but was actually slices of delicious cold pork. It was all very tasty, served with warm bread by the very friendly and helpful owner. And the place is spotlessly clean. Highly recommended adults and children aged 11 and 14)

Sitio muy sencillo y acogedor todos los platos con muy buena presentación, sitio sencillo y muy acogedor. Todos los platos que probamos no podían estar mejor y el propio muy agradable, atento y simpático. Volvemos..

La comida genial , la atención muy cercana y profesional, vine a este pueblo porque era festivo en sevilla y la verdad que pleno acierto con el restaurante Muy recomendable
