Buen Provecho Albuquerque

I had the arroz con pollo with plantains and Yuka fries ?. This place is definitely a community staple! My pallet is a hard one to please.Food: 5/5

I'm not about go against the grain here.... this is the 18th review of Buen Provecho and it's the 18th with a full five stars. So what makes this place so special? The quality and freshness of the food! Costa Rican food isn't spicy like Mexican, but this food was so full of flavor! The rice alone was spectacular, let alone the meat and salad.. Passion Fruit agua fresca was a delightful accompaniment. Eating outside in the covered courtyard was just a bonus. We're going back to sample the menu items we didn't get to this time for sure.

Very impressed. I am from out of town, so I ordered delivery. They delivered so quickly! I had the vegan bowl and vegan bean tamale, both were delicious. The cuisine is very authentic to Costa Rica. Definitely recommend for vegans!

Everything is delicious. The tamales are very tasty. The empanadas ate good just small. They are located at the El Vado hotel. The area makes a nice place for a picnic. The coffee is very good, they have honey if you prefer it to sugar.Food: 4/5

The Chicharrones plate was amazing. It was fried pork belly chunks that were tender and juicy. Plantains were excellent. We also ordered the yucca fries which tasted even better than fries. Similar texture as potato but a little sweet. Loved the pink sauce. Friendly and quick service. Beware all seating is outside or in the tap room. This is a small food stall inside the El Vado restaurant area. Excellent meal and would be a regular if I lived in Albuquerque.
