We visited this restaurant as part of a group. First the positive, the main course was acceptable, as was the wine. The first course was meagre and poorly presented. The dessert was dreadful. We were in a large room with angroup who seemed to considered themselves to be singers. Unfortunately, they decided to 'perform', ruining the occasion for our group. (At best, they were poor.)The noise makers persisted, even attempting to collect money from us. Despite our requests, they continued and the restaurant staff were not prepared to ask the noise makers to consider others.A bad experience which I will not repeat.
Very kind service. I asked for something different than on the menu, and i was extremely surprised, in the good way. Also a very good presentation. I had the impression the other people liked it here too.
Stopped by Le Parvis for lunch after touring the cathedral at Albi. Wonderful view of the cathedral from the outside seating area. Good selection of food and drink, including set menus. We each had a salad, which were HUGE and absolutely delicious. Good value for money for quality of the food!
Ate here in a Tuesday evening as an alternative to the Marche Nocturne which was going on in the place in front of the cathedral. We were not disappointed. The food was top quality. I ate from the €29 menu which allowed me to choose anything from the starters and main meals and a dessert. I ate foie gras then confit de canard. Both well presented and high quality. The service was good and friendly. We ate on the terrace with the amazing view of the cathedral, and we're just far enough from the music for it to be pleasant but not intrusive. On such nights you have to go with it and enjoy the free entertainment like everyone else. The sommelier was helpful with the choice of wines and we had two 37cl bottles of Gaillac. Both were good matches to the food.Exceptional value: we pushed the boat out, ate high up the menu, had aperitifs and it was still less than €90. Highly recommended if you know your french food and enjoy a traditional french restaurant experience.
