Ship's Pub Lounge - Albany

I dined here for the first time and it was an amazing experience. My son and I started with the Crow's Nest appetizer, which was so generous it could have been a meal on its own. It came with house-made ranch, blue cheese, and honey mustard. I ordered the Drunken Sailor while my son had the Monkey Fist, and both burgers were some of the best we've had in a long time. Our server was wonderful, and we really enjoyed the music playing in the background. The decor was also very appealing.

The monkey fist was truly the size of a monkey's fist! The food was outstanding, and even though the restaurant was short-staffed during my visit, the service was still prompt. I absolutely love a runny egg burger, and this one was incredible. I will definitely be returning to enjoy another one of these in the future!

This restaurant is definitely one of the best options on Grubhub. Initially, I thought $14 and some change was a bit steep for the burger and fries meal I ordered, but when the food arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. The burger was large and beautifully presented, packaged separately to keep the toppings fresh and prevent sogginess. The waffle fries were big and crispy. Plus, when my bottle of wine didn't arrive, the manager personally delivered it to me. This place truly stands out for its high quality. The food is always fresh and absolutely delicious.

Birthday Clams, great idea and amazing! All our food was amazing, service was great. Can’t say enough about how good this place was. Casual tavern atmosphere. We will definitely be back
